BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 1998--Bell Emergis has chosen the Renaissance Balanced Scorecard(tm) solution, powered by Gentia, to help the company track and measure its business objectives more effectively. Bell Emergis has also joined Gentia Software's developer partner program, enabling it to provide strategic feedback on future Web-enabled versions of the software.
Bell Emergis will use the Renaissance Balanced Scorecard software to link its objectives from the executive level down to the business level, ensuring everyone is working toward common goals. Key users will track the business unit's performance from their desktops and will communicate the information to the rest of the unit's 400 employees so that everyone knows where the company is headed.

As a member of Gentia Software's developer partner program, which was created for the company's premiere customers, Bell Emergis will provide significant feedback and input into features and functionality of future Web-enabled versions of the Renaissance Balanced Scorecard.
