NSW: The NSW snow report for Wednesday August 26, 2009
SYDNEY, Aug 26 AAP - The NSW snow report for Wednesday, August 26.
THREDBO: 30cm of snow has fallen on the upper mountain overnight. Great conditions.
Snow is still falling with moderate to strong winds. 15cm of snow fell in the village
last night. Top temperature of -2 degrees celsius forecast. All lifts operating.
CHARLOTTE PASS: 10cm of snow overnight. Light snow still falling across the resort
on top of 14cm of snow yesterday. Top temperature of -2 degrees celsius forecast, with
more snow expected during the day. All five lifts in operation.
SELWYN: 15cm of fresh snow. Good skiing and snowboarding with snowmakers topping up
overnight falls. More cold weather is forecast for end of week. 5 lifts open.
PERISHER: 10cm of snow overnight and snow continues to fall. Great cover across the
resort topping up the 12cm of snow yesterday. Current temperature is minus five degrees
celsius. 48 lifts open.
