(ADPnews) - Oct 28, 2010 - Swiss drug maker Acino Holding (SWF:ACIN) reported today a net loss of EUR 1.7 million (USD 2.35m) for the first nine month of 2010, after a profit of EUR 20.6 million in the prior-year period.
The result was pushed down by the recall of Clopidogrel blood thinner batches in the second quarter of the current year.
In the reporting period, the company booked a loss before interest and tax of EUR 4.1 million compared with a profit of EUR 25.1 million in the first nine months of 2009.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) dropped to EUR 15.3 million from EUR 43 million. The EBITDA margin fell to 15.9% …
